Why spend more?
This hotel is in a very quiet location away from US 101, but is close enough to everything the area has to offer. Stay here and save some money. More than good enough for a shower and sleeping.

The Carrows up the street not great. Maybe try the Marie Calendars in Pismo.

Great buy for the price
We stayed Labor Day weekend. Hotel was busy, but not to where it was uncomfortable. When the maid came and asked to clean the room, we were getting ready to go downtown, and told her to come back. When we came back later that night, she never returned to clean the room(no clean towels or shampoo). In the morning they start vacuuming the hallways at around 8 a.m. so don’t plan on sleeping in. Also, we were next to the maintenance room. It sounded like they were sharpening machetes in there. Overall though, it was a pleasant stay. The hot tub was "very hot" so they’re not skimping on the heat.
