Nice hotel... convenient location!
Hotel was perfect to stay in... comfortable, clean room and the continental breakfast was nicer than expected. A little difficult to find the hotel, since it is tucked away back off the main road, but that also means less congestion and traffic noise!

Running Path/Greenway Close!
Suprisingly, I found the "Capital Greenway" just across the street from the Fairield Inn. It is a very well maintained wilderness area that cuts through Raleigh with a large nice paved biking/running trail. Large nice creek next to trail. Great place to run while staying at Fairield Inn just across street! Very close to Fairgrounds as well.
