great for short stay in Scranton Ara
Little out of the way but accomodations were goood value.

Nice place with nice people
We only stayed one night on our way to Connecticut, but it was very enjoyable. The pool was clean and temperature was comfortable. The room was also clean and neat, and spacious. Overall, a very pleasant experience and relaxing night’s sleep!

Mediocre but adequate
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The halls were dingy, with worn and soiled carpeting. The vending machines were poorly maintained and some did not work. The breakfast was simple but adequate. There are many shopping places nearby with varied restaurant choices. Try the diner just up the road. It is a classic 50’s diner with great homestyle food.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
The Steamtown Railroad National Park is a wonderful place to visit. Also, the mine that is open to the public is extremely interesting and educational. Both are in Scranton, about 15 minutes from the hotel.
