Good base for Norfolk and The Broads
Good, quietly spoken staff. Clean towels every day. Clean and comfortable beds. Room clean and fairly spacious. Hotel generally in need of some redecoration. It is near the Norfolk Show-ground and the A47 (Ring Road).
Traveller's tip
It helps to find the Quality Hotel if you look for the clock tower on the Castle Carvery (Brewers Fayre). The Quality Hotel is just opposite. Road sign on A1074 says, Employment Area.

dstay for 5 nights
If you want to stay near town , this may not be best place. But we got a good price deal from expedia so this made up for the taxi fares .Vending machines for soda and chips a plus point. Plumbing seems run down and we had a water tank problem one day ( no water in the morning after 9 but was fixed by night) and another day the bathroom sink hotwater did not come. Shower fittings not in good condition.Trouser press did not heat up. No fridge or microwave in room.Bus stop is not all that close so you need a cab once its dark. Breakfast is expensive and tea is extra . Staff are well mannered and breakfast was tasty.

Use ABC cabs in Norwich , found them to be good

Cheap-ish and cheerful
We wanted somewhere cheap to stay as a base while we attended a friends wedding. This was the cheapest hotel we could find and was perfectly fine for a lower end of the market chain. The bed was comfy and the room was big although the shower was terrible and kept running hot and cold. It was nice that there was a bar although it was predictably expensive. A reasonable hotel if you need somewhere cheap and very easy to find.
Traveller's tip on dining
Forget the 12 pound breakfast and head to the Sainsburys cafe 5 minutes away for a 3 pound full English in the morning!
