Great hotel
My husband and I stayed at the Montague twice, the first time for 4 nights, and then again a week later for 2 nights. The first two nights it was an ordinary, if well-appointed hotel room. The second two nights we were upgraded to a more spacious suite. The second stay our suite was upgraded to a better, even more spacious suite and spacious isnt a term I use lightly in London. The food in both the restaurants was outstanding and the bar was welcoming as well. We had a vacation to remember in large part thanks to the Montague.
Traveller's tip for business travellers
The Heathrow Express is a pricey ride with multiple changes of trains depending on your terminal and hotel location, but you can negotiate a trip into town with a taxi for about 40-45BP (more expensive but loads less trouble.) Also, if youre in London for any length of time, spring for an Oyster Card to ride the underground and bus.

Reommended
We booked a one night stay at the Montague and would definitely stay here again. We loved the garden terrace and the public rooms and had a very good and very reasonably priced supper there on the Sunday night. Very convenient situation - you can walk into central London in about 10 - 15 minutes. Thank you for a great weekend!
The hotel is virtually next door to the British Museum and give the tube and even the bus a miss and walk to the theatre and/or central London via Covent Garden and Soho.

A lovely hotel in a great location
This is a wonderful place to stay in London in a convenient location on the Piccadilly Line coming from Heathrow airport. The neighborhood is very walkable, and it is right across the street from the British Museum. The rooms are very small but clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
