Comfortable stay

Spent more time at the hotel than expected due to car breaking down on the way! It’s in an industrial area some way from the city - we were too tired to check the claim that the tram that stops outside whistles you in to the town in next to no time. Hotel very pleasant indeed, though the pool is very very small

A very good hotel in Caen

The hotel is clean and comfortable, the staff is curteous, helpful and speak English quite well. On-site amenities include a nice pool and a patio. The hotel is located not too far away from most of the city attractions, but is on a quit street. The only (small) downside is the lack of proper dining facilities - the hotel restaurant is somewhat lacking in choices and the waiting time is typical of a French restaurant :-) Overall I was satisfied with my stay and will use this hotel again if I happen to be in the area.

Great Place to Stay

I had a very short stay at the Novotel, since I was departing Normandy for an early morning flight out of Paris DeGaulle. My only complaint was not with the hotel, but a few unthoughtful tourists talking loudly below my window. The room exceeded my expectations and was quite nice. The facility is a modern work of art.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

This is a great place to stay if you are exploring the battlefields of WWII. The British sectors are all within reach.
