Colonial style decor with spectacular views over the straits of Gibraltar. With views of Spain and the Rif Mountains in Morocco. All rooms have seaview and all have, Tea/Coffee making facilities, Bath Robe, Sherry/Whiskey, Trouser Press at no extra cost. Outdoor swimming pool is open from the 1st April - 5th October. Our rooms do not accommodate 3 or 4 adults guests will be charged and accommodated in an additional room if necessary

Not impressed
I had to ask to be moved as soon as I arrived in the hotel as my room smelt of sewage. The reception staff were not apologetic or helpful, though I did eventually get another room. I would advise staying in Spain and walking across the border as none of the hotels in Gibraltar were great. This is at best at 3* hotel and definately not a 4*. Beware of the offer to stay for the weekend with breakfast included if you have children as for some reason breakfast is not included for children.

Would love to go back sometime
Really liked Hotel and very interested in its past. Apparently there is a Visitors Book that you can look at with all the Names of Famous people that have stayed there, unfortunately it is being re-covered owing to old age and was not available when we were there. The only drawback to Hotel is Swimming Pool on other side of Main Road outside Hotel it was alright for My Friend and I but could prove difficult for some people.Otherwise would love to return sometime.

Gibraltar Gem
A great Easter Week-end at the Rock. Our room over looking the ocean was superb The food in the restaurant was very good and the breakfast buffet one of the best I have seen. The swimming pool area looked very nice only wish it had been warmer so we could have used it. Very impressed with the staff and were made to feel very welcome at this first class hotel and will certainly be going again and thanks to expedia for such a brilliant deal
