Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
30 min walk to the center of town. Very nice sores on the way so the walk is not that bad.

Not too impressed
This hotel was good enough. The problem is that we were given an awful, small and very smelly room, without any ventilation. After one night there we had enough, and asked for a new room, which we got without any fuzz. The new room had a much better standard and didnt smell.. Overall we were pleased with the visit, but the next time we go we will choose something a bit more central. Not meaning that this hotel was too far out - Amsterdam is small, but we felt that we wanted to be closer to the centre.

Good for a place to crash
The hotel was basic. It seemed as if they had tried to make the rooms look better on a very small budget or in a half hearted way. However, it was clean and the room was fairly large (easily accomodated three girls). The location is good, near the jordaan area, which is really pretty and typical Amsterdam but close enough for a 10 minute walk to the Anne Frank House and other central attractions. I would recommend the hotel for people who want a one, maybe two, night crash pad and nothing else.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
Randy Roys redlight tour may sounds odd but is a brilliant way to see the redlight district. Interesting sights and commentry and a free drink!
