Something Always Broken
There was always something wrong with our room. During our first night, the shower drain was clogged. The next day, the sink was clogged. On the third day, the bulb in the bathroom went out. These are not acceptable for a four-star rated hotel.

The rooms and hotel were fine. Just would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. No iron could be located

Hated it so much! Would not recommend it to anyone.
This was the worst visit to a hotel I have ever had. It was just stark and small, with the tiniest shower ever and no toiletries or coffee maker. Gnats on the cheese and meat at breakfast. Apparently, some of the rooms are decorated by aspiring designers, so during my stay, one of the nights was called "Plastic Night." For this, they open up 31 of the rooms to be viewed by the public from 5pm-11pm and then it becomes a dance party until dawn. People were banging on my door as late as midnight, even though it certainly was not open for viewing. It was so loud from the lobby, even on the 10th floor. I called the front desk at 1215 in the morning and asked to be moved to another hotel. They were resistant at first, claiming that they had informed everyone. A note in the elevator the day before was all I saw. That is hardly sufficient for people who booked and paid in advance. Finally, they did send me to Hotel Brussels at their expense and paid for the cab. TV did not work and they had no idea or desire to help. Snobby reception people, beyond what Americans should expect. Rooms on the 10th floor but elevator stops at 9. No real comfort or amenities provided by this pseudo-chic hotel.
Traveller's tip
Stay somewhere else. Amenities are few for this supposedly modern, noisy hotel.
