recommended

I was impressed with this hotel. It’s hard to find reasonably priced acommodation in Central Oslo. The discount on the canteen food made them good value in Oslo terms for an evening meal, too. Free internet in the lobby was a handy perk. staff were friendly and helpful, although a little non-plussed when I asked where wwas a good route to go for a run in the city!

Perfect location

The hotel’s location was perfect. Right in the city centre but very quiet. Staff were very polite, check in & out was the quickest its ever been. Very stress free stay. Only concern was the room was quite small. Other than that I couldnt recommend the hotel highly enough.

The rumours about Oslo are true. Its frighteningly expensive and thats coming from someone who lives in London. Take as much money as possible and be prepared to empty your bank account. Oslo is very small so all sights are within walking distance but the tram is recommended. Its the most perfect city in the world

Great place to stay in Oslo

We had a very enjoyable 4-night stay, the breakfast was excellent and the location was spot on - close to bars and restaurants and Karl Johan’s Gate is just a 2min walk. Only negative things would be the decor, slightly dated and the doors only locked when you inserted the key card (no danger of getting locked out though)! On the postive, the bed was incredibly, incredibly comfortable (5*). Also very impressed with the staff, we left early for a flight and we took up their offer of a breakfast box - saved us several kronas at the airport :)

Traveller's tip

We got the no 1 t-bane to Frognerseteren, had great views of Oslo the higher we climbed and once there we headed to the restaurant and sat outside enjoying the amazing views of Oslo!
