Great location.
This hotel is across the street of two shoe plaza’s. Also it is about a block away from other hotels that have great food and entertainment, that way you have more choices when it comes to fine dining. The rooms were very clean, the service as expected of Mexico: everyone was very helpful. For instance, for breakfast they did not have a particular brand of yogurt that my wife likes and they actually sent someone to get it for her. The bar has a good variety of drinks at reasonable prices for a hotel. Don’t forget to ask for the free "botana" or appetizers. In all, the price that I paid was great bargain for the service that you receive. It is on the main street of Leon so it is well connected to anywhere you might want to go to.
Traveller's tip on dining
If you want great Mexican cuisine, but keep in mind it is not tacos or burritos or enchiladas, but food from Mexico prepared in a different way, try the restaurant "El Zahuan". Excellent food at a very modest price. I travel alot so I have visited many great restaurants in the States and this one ranks way up there.
