Lido Beach resort Sarasota
It’s right on the beach, good pool and miles of beach. Really a fly and flop place but enough to do at night with a free schuttle to St Almands circle shops and restaurants. We were in a room with a kitchen, looks like it was just remodeled, 32’’ plasma and a mini kitchen. Pay a bit more for a tower room with a great view. Restaurant for breakfast was 1st class & great views too. Got a free late check out and good courtesey rooms to shower if not.

Love Florida
Beautiful location right on the beach. Breakfast was good, but ate lunches and dinners out. Room had refrigerator and microwave which was convenient. Only issue I had is the hotel didn’t have TBS during the baseball playoffs and I am a Phillies fan!

Great Mini Vacation
We picked the Lido because our nephew was being married in Sarasota and it was a great local choice. It was our first time in Sarasota. The hotel is casual beach style, Tiki Bar by the pool and all that, but a really nice restaurant with a first class chef on the 9th floor who was a chef for the Disney cruise lines. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and the staff was great. The ground floor layout had lots of small "semi-private" areas of lounge chairs and tables where you could sit down and talk and drink. Dress is casual. Lido is close to St. Armands Circle on Lido Beach, a an absolute "must" for shopping, restaurants, and people-watching. We will go back again for sure.
Lido Beach is the perfect "unwind and chill" getaway spot. Friendly service, good food and drinks, beach at your door. Walk or bike to St. Armand’s Circle.
