Not too much impressed. Too far away from any other places in Bali.
Hotel is OK but not too good. The truth is there is always enough water level in the ocean to swim. even at a low tide. that’s true and that’s the advantage. the disadvantage is remote location of the hotel. for people who like active travelings, tours, sightseeing the hotel will be not very convenient to get to any place in Bali as it is far away, takes a lot of time and subsequently costly. if you are going to take tours and sightseeing then go to Kuta or Sanur or Jimbaran area. the breakfast menu is quite limited. however the hotel is nice, clean and the area is beautiful. anyway i would not recommend my friends to go to Nusa Dua. Nikko has nothing to do with that. I do not find Nusa Dua the best and privilege resort area in Bali. Nothing special and as i say, too remote from any entertainments, forests, lakes, rafting, volcanoes, whatever you may wish to see in Bali.

Not Impressed with Hotel, does not deserve 4 star rating
Not Impressed with Hotel, does not deserve 4 star rating. After initial positive impression, very nice location, gardens etc. The hotel room turned out to be ’tired’ in need of refit, especially bathroom. Air Con never worked properly despite many requests to have it fixed. Most of the time there were more waiters than guests as we went in low season and we have to admit they were incredibly polite but no eye contact so we were left waiting for drinks, service, bills etc. Food in the restaurants was terrible yet very expensive. The service in the chinese restaurant was shocking, we’ve never seen someone put on a latex glove to shred a duck before! In the end spent most nights eating out at the Bali Collection shopping mall just a short taxi ride away as did most of the other guests - finally figured out why there was no atmosphere in the hotel. This hotel does not deserve its 4 star rating, only 3 at most !
Traveller's tip on dining
Head down to the Bali Collection for some decent dining. Free shuttle bus every hour, or Taxi ride costs about a pound.

Perfect place for a relaxing stay
We had a weekend getaway & Nikko was perfect! Quiet location, lots of pool room & great massages...water slide received lots of use! Only draw back was the ocean was littered with seaweed & had a quick drop off with mucky sea floor. We have been spoiled with the Gold Coast in Australia.
