Great, provided you have no mobility problems
This is a great property with nice, spacious rooms, courteous staff and a very relaxing feel. There are NO elevators or ramps in the guest wings, however, so plan accordingly. If you tend to pack a lot, you’ll be challenged by the stairways if you’re staying on the 3rd floor. And if you use a walker, cane or, God forbid, a wheelchair... GOOD LUCK! Al, the golf teaching pro, is great.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
Don’t waste your money on the outdoor tennis courts, they’re in pretty bad shape and not level. You might as well pay an extra few bucks and play indoors. If you want a spot by the embers at night, get there early or you’ll never get one.

Great Location
Unexpected luxury for Wisconsin. We only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer to see more of its expansive grounds. I believe this was the old Playboy Club back in the day. Did not miss staying right on Lake Geneva for the resort property was so peaceful and pretty We requested a King on line and none were left, but the receptionist made it up to us with an upgrade to a small lake and pool view. We go to Lake Geneva often(which is a couple blocks away from resort) and also to Alpine Vally for concerts, will definitley go back. Also had a great breakfast buffet Sun morning.

noisy hallways
We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Geneva and the grounds were beautiful. We ate at the Geneva Chop House restaurant and it was delicious. The waitress asked us if we were celebrating something special and because it was our anniversary they brought me a rose and gave us with a delicious dessert sampler on the house. The bed was comfortable with a feather bed topper and duvet with cover. There was a large flat screen TV in the room and TV in the bathroom mirror which was an unexpected luxury. However, the hallways were very loud and you could hear everything being said out in the hallway from your room. You also could hear people talking in their rooms when you were walking in the hallway.
