Overall stay was just OK
The inital rooms offered were no impressive and we requested a change. The hotel seemed under staffed and service was slow in certain areas. Staff, when asked, were helpful in 75% of the cases

Not a 4 star
For a start there was no one to assist with bags to my room, not very chareteristic of a 4 star hotel. The room was uncomfortabyl hot all of the time, even in February, however dur to the hotel being built on top of a major motorway there is no way sleep was opssible with the window open. not impressed at all

Ideal for visit to Chester
With easy access to A55 made an ideal stay when we met up with Friends from Anglesea, Lymme and Stockport. There is a Park and Ride service into Chester close to the Hotel and a taxi ride was only £4.50. The Swimming pool did not live up to it’s Seb Coe title and seemed a little "tired"
The special rates available for a full breakfast if booked on arrival proved very good value. Use the bar facilities for other meals - thier special deals were excellent value at under £5.00.
