We were hoping for a hotel with a little bit of character but this was not the case - it’s in need of a makeover and the room was poky. The staff, however, were by and large very helpful.

Returned to this hotel this year. Everything I wrote about it in the review below is still true, except the breakfast was much better. I feel obliged to up my score to ’perfect’.
