not impressed
Expected better for a double room without breakfast over priced. The room needed up-dating and the hotel appeared shabby.

Very pleasant stay
I stayed in this hotel from a Sunday to Wednesday in September for a work conference. Everything about the Ramada was excellent. Very friendly and helpful reception. Clean, modern, and quiet room with complimentary coffee and tea. Great location, easily a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of the city or just a 5-6 pound taxi ride. Would definitely stay again.

Adequate but pricey
The Ramada is a big and fairly anonymous hotel - it does what it says and its OK, just dont expect anything too special. Our room was miles from reception in a warren of alleyways towards the back of the building. No sea view but a tiny bit of outside space on a kind of shared verandah. One warning - there is parking available BUT theyll charge you 15 pounds a night extra.
