Looking forward to return trip
I would highly recommend the Marriott Key Largo. The property is very well maintained and is the nicest resort in the Key Largo area. I can’t wait for an opportunity to stay at this resort again in the future.

Nice in Key Largo
We stayed here 1 night on our way to Key West. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The small beach was nice. The pool was fairly crowded (September). The fitness center was nice but a bit small.
Traveller's tip on dining
There are a few nice bars and restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed Sundowners next door. They give you food for the Tarpon (fish) and you can feed them from the dock.

Will become a tradition!!!!!!!!!
My Husband and I were married in Key West on Sept. 18, 2009 and chose to stay in Key Largo for our honeymoon. This hotel made the entire stay a true pleasure. The food alone is worth the trip! Gus’Grille was scrumptious. EVERYTHING was delicious. The surroundings were beautiful. It was a dream honeymoon. The staff were fantastic. We felt like royalty. The whole family will be going again next year. Bravo to all that work there! I reccomend this hotel to everyone I see!
Please make sure you have extra in the bank. Everywhere from the car rental to scuba equipment put holds on your bank account until items are returned. If possible pay the room hold fees in cash. about a hundred per day. They are very prompt about returning it or lifting the holds.
