ok, but certainly not 4 star

I didn’t feel that the price matched what you received. Overall, the hotel feels as though you are entering a time warp to the ’80s. Also, no coffee pot or frig in the room. Breakfast had no vegetarian options at all and extremely limited selections. The staff refused to give us ice, instead suggesting we run cold water on our glasses in our rooms! The receptionist took a phone call for 5 minutes in the middle of checking us out. As a result, we had to run uphill with our luggage to make our bus out of town.

Mixed Experience

Staff were welcoming and freindly. Dinner service varied from good to terrible, 5-7 courses served lead to a lot of confusion amongst the waiters bringing wrong courses/wrong dishes to wrong table. Site is a 10-15 min walk to the ski lift, not ideal and we left our skis and boots at the ski uplift site. Hotel is clean and freindly though and Saas Fee is a super Swiss Alpine Village.

Traveller's tip on nightlife

Decent apres ski without the madness of Zermatt.

good comfortable

It was our first ski trip. The decoration is dated, but kept in good condition. The food is acceptable but if u want better stuff, try the resturants in the village. Only downside: far from the slope. Will only provide transport to life in the morning. Have to walk back on your own.

Traveller's tip

the half-board package is not worth it. Wine is expensive in hotel. store your ski and boot at the ski depot and walk back on your trainers.
