AD Hilton in July
The hotel is well located, simple, with a nice beach across the street. The business center were very helpful.
there is a Spinney’s grocery store about a ten minute walk away which is a fun expedition.

Pretty good business hotel...but...
The hotel is, I would guess, a good deal older than most in Abu Dhabi, but is in good condition and the rooms are very tasteful and comfortable. Restaurants and bars are good, specially the Oriental, really good food and attentive staff. My main gripe was the location. At the West end of Corniche St there is what is best described as a quarter mile drag strip outside... midnight and beyond brings the Lambos, Ferraris et al hitting their limiters, great if you’re awake, but otherwise very annoying... The Rotana Beach will be where I stop next time. Next to the mall you’re far enough away to get some sleep!
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Taxis... There are limos and taxis.. (Limos are basically slightly better cars but 5 or 6 times the price) Taxis are dirt cheap.. but make sure they run the meter... Other than for the airport run, I’d stick with the std taxi and just use the limo for the run to the airport...
