novotel
Room was somewhat small but well taken care of. The cafe was fine.Staff was helpful. My one recommendation is to have a professtional conceirge in place- I think that would solve many of the perceived problems( which were mostly language in nature. Because the lobby is on the ground level they have several managers patrolling the area- having a designated conceirge would be very helpful. It was very close to the convention center

Long weekend away in Hong Kong
The location of the hotel is ideal for a short break, being very central. Easy reach for bus, trams, the MTR(underground) and the Star ferry to Kowloon. For a little bit more money it’s worth going to the Executive floors, the rooms are a bit on the small size, bathroom included. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
Hong Kong Peck is a must for all. By day is gives a spectacular veiw of the tower blocks on Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, but the best time is evening, taking the Peck tram to the top (expect queues) Take a single tram ticket up with the peck tower offer, it’s worth taking the bus or a taxi back down as the queues can be even longer. Once at the top there are plenty of places to eat and have a drink, look around and then up the main tower to take in the lights of the cities.
