Great hotel but really far away from the centre
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights only, for leisure.The hotel looks old from outside but is really nice inside. Breakfast was great, the room clean, quite small but I’d say that European standard. Consider the distance though bcs you will need to walk a bit or to get a bus to a metro station from where you will get a tram to the city centre.Would probably not consider it next time because of the distance.

Excellent value for Stockholm
Budget rooms (with or without window) are basic yet fully equipped and comfortable. Staff are polite & helpful and there are a few bonuses like free high bandwidth wifi throughout, gym for non-budget guests. Breakfast is great and delicious, with a mix of continental or cooked. Shame about the coffee. Bus services to everywhere that I needed, just outside the hotel. I would recommend.

Weekend trip - Transport good and bad
We came over for a weekend to watch the Ice Hockey NHL opener in October 2009. The hotel itself was very good, the room comfortable, with a good selection at the buffet breakfast and a couple of bus stops next door. Unfortunately, contrary to what you may hear we had problems getting to and from the airport. Apparently there is a shuttlebus from Arlanda Airport, but this stops at 6:30pm (we landed at midnight). The shuttle bus can be picked up from Jarva Krog which is easy enough to get to, but again on Sunday there is a reduced service. The hotel did not make us aware of this. As a result we had to pay around 100 pounds in Taxis.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Make sure you pick up a couple of maps such as bus routes and places of interest. Download these from the net as the hotel doesn’t have anything. The bus stops outside mean you can get just about anywhere and the hotel sells bus tickets.
