The Michelberger Hotel is a budget hotel concept created by a group of friends- who had the idea to make the best hotel they could- the kind of hotel they would like to stay in. Set in an old factory building- each of the 119 rooms features loft-like ceilings and oversized windows. Hand-built wooden furniture in each room is juxtaposed with a hodgepodge of mismatched flea-market finds in the public spaces. Amenities include flat- screen TVs built into reclaimed industrial boxes and free Wi-Fi- a beer garden- 24 hour German Deli food and a blues bar with a small stage. Its intended for the new generation of sophisticated but laid- back travelers who want to have a high-style hotel experience at a budget price.
