Better than average service, no complaints
Good central location, clean, good breakfast included. They also sent some complementary cookies and fruit in the evening. The front desk was helpful though occasionally a bit disorganized - took a while for them to get anything done.Room was small, typical european size, but clean. Bathroom was recently renovated and very clean. Great place to stay if you get a good deal on the price but not a luxurious hotel.

dom henrique hotel is not a 4star hotel
this hotel is by no means a 4 star hotel. there was no satelite or cable tv or even pay as you view.bathroom was very tired with a shower over the bath which did’nt work properly. in my view the bathroom needed a good clean with bleach and softer loo paper. staff were all very pleasant and helpful

this is avery well postioned hotel in the city of porto. in walking distance of every thing porto has to offer

Good value for the price I got
I booked this hotel online at a good price, and I was very happy with it. It’s in a good location:central and near two metro stations. A good buffet breakfast.Only minor complaint was TV. Hopeless for UK visitors, I asked reception to put on BBC World or News 24 as Ryanair flights bound to bring in more UK tourists. I would go back to Dom Henrique
Most restaurants serve unadventurous fare, vegetable soup everywhere and grilled fish or meat.Good but gets boring. So try the little backstreet restaurants where you don’t get luxury surroundings but it’s the same stuff at a very good price usually with 1/2 litre of wine thrown in.
