The Best Western Stratton House Hotel is the former home of a leading Cirencester wool merchant, and has been extended in keeping with its 17th Century façade. The hotel restaurant offers a wide selection of English cuisine and overlooks the beautiful walled garden and croquet lawn. The Oak Room bar offers light meals and snacks. Ample on-site car parking is available. All rooms are ensuite with direct dial telephone, color television, courtesy tray, hairdryer, trouser press and broadband access. Premier rooms are also available. The old market town of Cirencester is packed full of history, and is situated an equal distance from the larger towns of Cheltenham, Gloucester and Swindon, and within easy reach of the M4 and M5.

Nice, old fashioned place

Stayed for just one night but it was a nice old fashioned hotel with a huge cooked breakfast in the morning. Our room was a reasonable size with a big bathroom and good shower.
