Disappointed in hotel but found excellent restaurents & old fashionede sweet shops
Car park was in side road at hotel rear but not signposted. Had to get out & ask for directions.Front of house was a mixture of decorating styles and look cluttered. The bar area was dull and unwelcoming especially as the heavy meaty smells from the restaurant (aka carvery) pervaded it. Not good for us veggies. Our room really only was suitable for 1 person. Small wardrobe and we originally were only given 1 set of towels. 2nd set took several hours to arrive. Tiny shower cubicle.1st morning breakfast was waiter service & my husband had to chase his order (scrambled eggs) after 20 mins.

Close to a restaurant lined road. Try Marsala Art, excellent modern indian cuisine,fantastic service. Also close to train station & excellent shopping mall. Also perfect area for those of us who like their fondly remembered childhood sweeties weighed into paper bags.

Would definately recommend :D
Was very impressed with the hotel, can’t really complain about anything. Food was good, room was comfortable and clean, staff were friendly and prices were very good in the summer deals.
Nothing was too far away from the hotel. Shopping in city centre- a 10 minute walk away, train station across the road and plenty of brochures and leaflets with places to see and do.

Stayed for 2 nights. Room was ok but very warm, the window didn’t open very far. Close to city centre for shopping and good base for visiting other places.
