A Caution
This hotel is built down the side of a cliff. It faces the Mediterranean sea with wonderful views. Due to the nature of the hotel I would recommend it with reservations. For one who is disabled, overweight or similar problems, reaching one’s room is a chore. Ours was three stories down outside steps - no elevator. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast left a bit to be desired. Coffee, bread, cereal, jam and a watery juice.

Great hotel and location for the price but owners are not
It’s a 2 star hotel so you don’t expect much. But on the contrary its clean, great location and the rooms themselves are very pleasant. However apart from the initial welcome, the owners Antonio and ’the man that didnt speak’ were rude, unhelpful and awkward. Asked if they knew how to get to Positano Antonio shouted, ’I don’t know everything!’. The owners are cold, fake and need a course in customer service. One day they even walked in to the bedroom and turned the Air Con off saying it was costing the hotel too much.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Ask if the AC is too expensive - don’t expect friendly staff - just stay there to enjoy the beautiful views.

Avoid this hotel when they are having large groups
I have stayed here before and loved it. The amenities, in particular the pool and spa tub, are wonderful. But they had a large family reunion, and the people were LOUD and rude. The staff tried to control them but couldn’t. It is the second time they had a family reunion, and had the same problem before. I will check first if I reserve a room here again. I won’t stay if they are having a large group. Very disappointed with the GUESTS’ behavior, both adults and children.
