Very nice hotel

Very nice hotel with large rooms that were spacious enough for three people. The beds are hard for those who do not like extra firm beds. Nice location in the Mont Juc area where the National Museum is located. The famous fountain show is well worth seeing in the evening. Our only problem is that at check out the clerk insisted that we had to pay for our room which was already paid for through expedia even after showing him our receipt from expedia. It took awhile for him to find someone else who understood the mistake. Otherwise the staff was very courteous and helpful.

Not best location for sightseeing

The first impression of the hotel and the room is very positive. However, cleanliness really needs to improve. It is easy enough to take the metro but not the nicest area to walk at night.

Very pleasant indeed

Spacious room and bathroom. Very comfortable, and air con very easily adjusted to suit. A little off the beaten track, but less than 5 minutes amble to Plaza de Espana or Poble Sec tubes (or the tapas bars around them) means it really needn’t be an issue.

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

The Aerobus stops at Plaza de Espana and costs 4.50, a taxi is over 20. Alternatively the train to Saints is 2.80 though you’d need a tube ride from there.
