Really first class!
I am very glad that I chose to stay at the Residency Inn, Yonkers, New York. I was impressed with just about everything about the hotel. Whenever I visit my former home state I will stay there.

Don’t depend on their shuttle service!
Nice, clean, new hotel. However, shuttle is not "on-call". You must make a reservation 24 hours in advance to use their shuttle....ridiculous! The pool is very warm, like a hot tub, but tons of chlorine. For people who have been staying at Residence Inns for years, you’ll be surprised to see that the rooms are much smaller than they used to be. They are very nice, though. Stainless steel appliances, granite counters, comfy beds.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
We used this hotel as a base to explore NYC. Its about a mile from the Greystone train station that takes you to Grand Central Station in about 30 minutes.
