just what we were looking for in a hotel
The Super 8 Hotel in Shelburne, VT was close enough to Burlington to see our son’s band but not have to pay higher Burlington Hotel prices. We were only 10 minutes from his venue and our room was big enough to accommodate our other son. Our only complaint would be the fold out couch we could not use. We pulled it out and the sheets were not clean. The sheets tore as we tried to open the sofa to a bed. This is our second stay at this Super 8 and we would certainly return in the future.

DIRTY...BEWARE!!!
This hotel was extremely dirty. Our room had two queen beds in it, one of them had dirty sheets and pillow cases. When we called the front desk they said they couldn’t move us to a new room, but they would have someone come to change the sheets. Well, about 20 minutes later a man showed up at the door, handed us a bunch of rolled up sheets and walked away. We were left to fend for ourselves! In addition, there was no window to the outside, just one that went to the dirty hallway, which left a bright light on all night that made the room very bright at night. The shades that were suppose to cover the window were sub-par therefore we constantly feel as though people from the hall could see into our room. Also, we did put a note on the bed asking for them to please change our dirty sheets...and they did, expect for the pillow cases which were left (they also had stains on them and dried blood). We were very unsatisfied and would NEVER stay here again!!!!!!! BEWARE!!

Dirty and smelly
Our room was dirty- there was mold and mildew in the bathroom, the toilet seat was broken, and there were bugs and dirt on the floor and behind the door. The wall paper was ripped off all the way around the perimeter of the room. When we turned down the bed, we found blood spots on the pillow case. When we complained to the front desk, we were told they were under renovation. No offer of upgrade or compensation, or even an apology for the inconvenience. Never again will we stay at a Super8.
