Old and tired nees a refit
Great friendly and helpful staff cant hide the fact that this hotel is old and very tired and in need of a serous refit. Breakfast was cold and horrible. Suggest you take your money elsewhere as there are many better hotels in this price range in HCM

Very good budget hotel
Stayed at Chancery Saigon Hotel August 09.Very pleased with the hotel considering how much we paid. Room was spacious with seperate living area with stocked mini bar. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was really good and the free wifi was very fast. Was very surprised both were included in room rate. If you are looking for good, cheap accommodation in Ho Chi Minh you can’t really go wrong. Did see some ants around the hotel but didn’t bother us too much.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
Don’t get ripped off by taxi driver. We did. You should pay no more than 100,000 dong for journey to hotel. Good little restaurant/bar round the corner from hotel. Turn left out of hotel and take next left down street. Look for some neon half way down. Nice old colonial charm restaurant.
