Great staff and adequate hotel
The staff at this hotel were fantastic - everybody we encountered was friendly and helpful, and a real pleasure to deal with. The hotel is ranked at four star, but it seemed closer to three star to us - a bit drab and tired, and it felt like a business hotel rather than a destination for the weekend.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Do not go to Warwick Castle - it’s horrendously over-priced and is a terribly run place, with absolutely no sense of history. It’s run by the same people as Madame Tussauds and it’s got the same gimmicky feel to it. Save your money and find a proper historical site to visit.

Modern Country Hotel
Great size rooms and bathroom, very modern. Comfy bed. Proper arm chairs and Table. staff were very helpful and friendly, good service in restaurant, food good quality. Leisure spa could do with updating but clean and good size pool. Small changing area in ladies section. towels provided. would be nice to have some beaty treatments available. Overall good value for money.
Stratford is great for shopping and dining with plenty of pubs and bars, and Theatre of course.Warwick Castle just up the road, and a great day out, but shops disappointing.
