a satisfactory no frills hotel in a decent location in hong kong
small, basic room and nothing fancy but quite satisfactory along those lines. if you want a reasonable, no frills place to stay then here you are. if you want a luxurious stay with a value added environment to enhance your stay, like my boutique hotel in bangkok that followed, look elsewhere. thats the main distinction.

convenient small hotel
convenient for kowloon area, next to underground exit, offered larger room with extra charge, my room (single was really small) even HK standard, Wet room not much bigger than 1`M sq with shower head next to toilet so whole area wet after shower. Hotel located in very busy area of kowloon so not really quiet and I did not find room very comfortable. Staff very efficient when approached but could smile a bit more. Get 10% off meals from noodle bar next to hotel but you can get much better value and quality food just minutes away.
avoid eating in hotels use airport bus arrival/depart get local map see a lot more if you walk get octopus card (local charge card) can use it for almost everything ,travelling shopping etc.

Very overpriced for incredibly small room
Ive stayed in Hong Kong several times before so Im accustomed to the smaller sized rooms, but have found that spending a bit more money normally means more space and better in-room facilities. My first choice of hotel (Hotel Benito in Tsim Sha Tsui) was fully booked, so I searched Expedia for a hotel of similar rating and price thinking I would get a room of similar quality. I came across the Casa Hotel and made a booking. Once checked-in, I found the room to be incredibly small and uncomfortable. The single room was approx 2.5m x 2.25m - with barely enough space for luggage. The bathroom was 1m x 1m - literally the size of a cupboard where the shower, basin and toilet are all above each other with absolutely no room for movement. The bed was a wooden base with a mattress on top, so not too comfortable - also no fridge, drinking water, or safety deposit box. The room did have a small TV, air conditioning, a kettle (but no cups or spoons) and free wireless internet. For the price, I was very unsatisfied - the Hotel Benito Id hoped to stay in has rooms more than twice as big, bathrooms four times the size, a larger and more comfortable bed (even in single rooms), fridge, free water, fruit, tea & coffee, safety deposit box, TV, free internet, etc ...all for the same price.
