Very helpful staff
The hotel staff went out of there way to be helpful. Although the internet was down for the rooms due to a tecnical fault, they let us make use of the business centre. We also had a problem with the water coming through brown, they immedietly offered to change our room. It cleared itself up though when we ran the water for a while.

Le Meridien Villon - Vilnius
If youre looking for a quiet place to get away but still enjoy Vilnius, then the Le Meridien Villon is ideal. There is a main road quite close, but youll forget its there. Theres a free shuttle bus which runs on a schedule (published daily) so you dont need to rely on taxis all the time. The surroundings of the hotel were quite picturesque, and were enhanced by the snow (mid-Feb). The only distraction was the boiler house, which could have been better placed but didnt really spoil anything. The Superior rooms in the hotel are great. Spacious, clean comfortable and some will have a great view from the balcony. All the staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough to help you. Great service! Theres a fairly good health centre in the hotel. The pool is OK, but the gym appears to be quite well equipped. The food was delicious, especially in the restaurant (Le Paysage), although if you eat there every day and night for more than a week you may exhaust the menu unless you like everything. Theres plenty to try in Vilnius itself though, and if youre on a budget that may be a better bet (the hotel is not expensive as such given the quality, but the town will be cheaper). All in all, my fiancee and I had a fantastic stay there and wouldnt hesitate to go back. In fact, weve half-planned it and well be staying at Le Meridien Villon when we do!
Whilst there are some facilities to keep children occupied, the location of the hotel may not be the best given the distance from the town centre and the fact theres nothing else around it.
