unqualified staff , poor maintenance

staff are not qualified at all, they dont know what to do.they grabed us back from the taxi ( in our way to the airport )to the hotel requesting the refund of the room keys, which are magnetic card, we already through in dust pin!!no maintenance at all,bathrooms look very old,Door room is so small, than the door frame ,show all lights from ouside!!Breakfast was very.very cheap,big varity,nothing to eat!!

i have stayed in hilton’s before and it’s just the poor egyptian mentality that let’s this hotel down. no sense of urgency when dealing with queries, we had no hot water during course of stay. sending an engineer from a reuest at 5pm afternoon being sent at 2am! the bank was closed most of the time due to ramadan, but the reception staff also are clueless. ie the bank was meant to open at 8pm and people queued for 30 minutes only to ask at reception and be told nobody was coming. waiting 45 minutes upon arrival to hotel to be transferred to room. this hotel should not be classified as 5 star. i would say 3 star. i have stayed in many better 4 star hotels before. avoid this hotel, hilton sharm dreams. the only good thing is the proximity to the beach.

don’t go to pacha! too expensive. little budda and hard rock cafe are a better night out.

Overall 4/5 Not sure about the food though!!

We only stayed bed and breakfast and the food was ok with plenty of assortment, but walking past the restaurant in the evening the food seemed to be the same fare, not too bad for breakfast but you wouldnt want to eat it every night. Also on site were a Tex-mex and italian restaurants, we only used the Tex-mex and to be honest it wasn’t up to much. With the variety of food on offer in nearby Naama bay and the cheap prices we ate out every night bar one. If you stay here there are plenty of pools on site, but you can use the private beach of the sister Hilton hotel just across the road and it is an excellent beach with no hassle and its own waiters and security staff. We stayed in a ’King’ room which had a balcony, mini bar,plenty of storage for your cases and clothes and was cleaned to very good standards. Overall an excellent stay. This is my first review I have written Good or bad on any hotel I’ve stayed in, I think that speaks highly enough.

Traveller's tip on dining

Try the restaurants in Naama Bay, I’m sure there are some that are not so good.....we DIDN’T find them. Plenty of variety at excellent prices. My favourite was the Pomodoro which serves italian and has a fantastic indian restaurant.
