The Resort at Longboat Key Club is a 410 Acre Resort and Private membership Golf and Tennis Club located on the island of Longboat Key, just off the mainland of Sarasota, Florida. 232 Elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites provide dramatic views of the Gulf of Mexico, a serene lagoon or our golf course fairways. All suites include a king size bed, queen size sleeper sofa , fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, video player, CD Player, Twice daily housekeeping and private balcony. On-site amenities include four unique restaurants, 45 holes of championship golf, 38 tennis courts, fitness center, and a private white sand beach. Families will appreciate the year-round Kids Klub for children ages 5-12 and the babysitting services available through the concierge. A Complimentary shuttle is provided to the shops and restaurants of St. Armands Circle and Avenue of the Flowers.

Cant wait to stay again
If you are looking for a little bit of luxury then this is the place to stay. Wonderful facilities, great service and a lovely location. Expensive - yes; but worth it for a special occasion or for that hotel which is a little bit special
Traveller's tip on dining
Get a taxi to St Armannds Circle (about $8) where you will be spoilt for choice as to which restaurant to eat at. Personally I would recommend the steaks and fish at the Crab and Fin.
