good hotel, lousy bed

The Metro Tower Hill is a reasonable place to stay, but my bed was truly bad. Happily, I had spent the previous night on the train and was exhausted so it didn’t really matter. I would not have wanted to have slept on the bed another night, though.

Great Hotel

The hotel is a funky shape (circular) but that is really the appeal. The large balcony is great for relaxing and having morning coffee! We saw two beautiful parrots in the tree outside our window. Front desk staff were helpful with extra coffee, milk, towels, etc!

Traveller's tip on dining

The attached restaurant is very great especially after a full day of sightseeing when you don’t feel like walking anywhere else! Try the BBQ Ribs or Marinated Chicken Wings!!! Say hi to Peter and Anna!!!

Would recommend only if you can get a good price

The Hotel appears somewhat dated compared to others, but was clean and comfortable. Due to circular shape of hotel some rooms are quite small. Both nights there appeared to be some sort of rubbish collection at 6 am, waking me up on the 8th floor.Good location, both for the city centre and Roma Street and Central Station. All the sights with walking distance. Staff wouldn’t let me leave a bag there for the day - apparently for security reasons, however they were the only hotel in Oz that wouldn’t let me on this trip.
