Needs Improvement
Hotel was in a great area - lots of restaurants surrounding it. The common areas of the hotel looked updated with new carpet and decor but the rooms seemed dated (old wallpaper, carpet, furniture) and smelled a bit like smoke.

Beware!!
While staying at the hotel, I was told by an employee at the front desk to park in the back. My vehicle was vandalized in the tune of 2-3 thousand dollars worth the damage. They called the police but told me it was not their problem. I had the only Wisconsin plates in the back lot, and was not informed that there is no security or cameras.

Great Hotel
The Fairfield in was quiet and very well maintained. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Great hotel, beats the others
Hotel was clean and quiet. Within walking distance was Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn and Comfort Inn. This was the least expensive and was cleaner. (I have been in the others. Strange, Marriott charges more for direct on line billing than what I found on Hotels.com.

It’s our family standard
Our family makes frequent trips to the Lansing area for both business and pleasure. Whenever we travel there now we immediately book our stay at the Okemos Fairfield. The hotel is conveniently located, clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and the staff is always friendly and ready to help.

Fairfield Inn
Great people at the front desk -- free cookies at check-in. Room was clean and nice but too cold (couldn’t get the air temperature comfortable). Better than average continental breakfast / buffet with fresh and frozen items available.

Nice hotel - internet intermittent
Conveniently located, clean, nothing fancy but very nice. It would have been nice to have a fridge in the room (which is more common these days). Also the wireless internet connection was weak, intermittent and kept reconnecting to the incorrect wireless network. Room rate was good for the area and would consider staying there again.

Great Room Quiet Location
Great room. Quiet location! Very pleasant front desk staff. We didn’t have to wait for the clerk to finish dealing with other guests before another clerk came to assist us.

Not bad for one night
Okay for a night. Only single cup coffee maker with only one coffee packet, and no filter basket to put the packet in...big deal for a couple who need their coffee first thing in the morning. Good thing there wasn’t the basket for the filter...we would have had to arm wrestle for that single cup!

good business stop
Everything was great with room. Bathroom (tub) could use a good scrubing, wallpaper peeling in bath in numerous places.

Pleasant Stay
While this may not be a four star hotel, it is a well-kept, clean, and friendly place to stay. The staff was very professional. As usual, it met our expectations for a Fairfield Inn property.
