Grossly Unacceptable

This hotel was booked up to two months in advance via expedia. I had arrived from a long journey from Newcastle to Birmingham to stay at the hotel for the weekend of the Ashes Cricket. Much to my surprise, there was signage on the door generally discouraging any customers. I had signalled a man inside to allow me to speak to him however had declined. Eventually he engaged with me and later explained that the hotel was double booked for a group of overseas students. They obviously took precedence. This man from morocco was providing cover for the manager holidaying in Tunisia and here I was without a place to stay in the eve of the ashes. Unacceptable! It appeared that this was the case for a two period. Can you imagine the chaos with other double booked expedia customers!?!?!?
