Nante Mercure - Great Hotel
This hotel was great. I would recommend staying in this one. The photos of the pool don’t really amaze you and may seem a little offputting but when you get there the setting is nice. There is also free bike hire (although a limited number). The bar/restaurant is nice too (although we didn’t have time to really utilise them). The location of the hotel is great too but could be a bit far to walk to the main sites of Nante for families (but great for public transport/bikes/cars). It is also on an island situated in a quiet semi residential area which is fine too. The staff were also excellent- really friendly and helpful, and very flexible for english speakers only.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Not really a nightlife centered hotel. Perfect for families and those who don’t want to be right in the centre of the pubs/clubs and restaurants. There is a good shopping centre close for those who like to get groceries or for other general clothing shops and cafes etc.

Hidden Gem
Tucked away in a business area which made this a quiet location but with easy access to the heart of the old town of Nantes.The hotel was modern and airy and the room very spacious and comfortable. We were pleased to see tea and coffee making facilities which is not the norm on the continent.Pleasant,helpful staff and good, secure parking.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
You must visit the Chateau with its resident pack of wolves! Excellent bistro across from the entrance.
