Good Motel, but go somewhere else to eat.

This motel is older, but generally in good shape. The desk clerk was very cordial with us and even ask if we had any discounts. Most would have just checked you in at rack rate without asking. The room was in good shape for an older motel. The desk asked if there were any problems with the room when we checked out. That is a good way to keep up with maintenance. We used the pool. They do not have a skimmer on the pool so there were leaves and bird feathers in the pool, as there are trees all around the pool. If you are picky about the pool, I wouldn’t recommend this one. The restaurant was the biggest problem. The hotel does give discounts for the evening meal and a free hot breakfast. The staff of the restaurant were not real friendly or cordial. The food was fair to good. They had a block of cream cheese out for the morning buffet that had a moldy portion, so they cut the moldy portion off and just left it there. Not smart. My wife was grossed out over this. Over all the motel was good and I would use it again, but I will not eat my meals there.

Traveller's tip on dining

Try dining somewhere else. I’m sure there is not much selection in the area.
