Hmmmm
The bed squeaked. a lot. On the first morning, locksmiths came in at about 9.30am to change the locks. the reception hadnt warned me about this, if they had I would have arranged myself to be out and about! I had planned to have one morning relaxing, but this was not possible. The locksmiths said it wouldnt take long at all, but my bedroom door was wide open and unlocked for about 3 hours. It is NOT a good feeling, when you feel that your belongings are unsafe in a hotel room! Also, the bathroom was TINY - there wasnt even enough room to put a small bar of soap at the sink! and the water from the shower was a mere dribble, it made it difficult to wash. Apart from that, the hotel was fine. Breakfast was basic but sufficient, staff were friendly and helpful.

Welcome to the dungeon
The hotel has an excellent location; right on the tube and across from a wonderful park. There ends the benefits! The hotel staff was fluent in many languages. Unfortunately, English was not one of them. Our room was in the basement and offered a wonderful view of the back alleyway, through the window well. The decent into our room came with an overpowering odor of mold and mildew which did not subside until we left the hotel.
