Better when not during the summer
The room was of a decent size. The cleanliness was OK but not great - could have dusted a lot more and vacuumed. Because there was no air conditioning, much of my stay was not all that comfortable. It is simply too hot there during the summer. I’m sure that the hotel would be much more comfortable during the Spring or Fall. TV is extra. Breakfast is extra. Internet is extra.

Good location!!
This hotel is located literally steps away ferom the train station making it a very convienient place to stay. The rooms were very clean and it was a quiet atmosphere. I think it was a little pricey compared to other hotels I stayed at in Germany, but overall I’d say I was satisfied. It was a nice location because there are lots of cafes and shops where you can walk and get coffe or meals. The only problem I had while there was the front desk tried to charge me two times, first when arriving then when leaving. I tried to explain that I had paid online, but they couldn’t seem to understand that. Finally when I was leaving I just said, OK, go ahead and charge me again (knowing that I would dispute the charge later and get a refund. Finally the manager came out and cleared it up. Oh, and the second thing was that they tried to charge me for double occupance because a friend who lived in Erfurt came to help me to the train station as I was leaving. I also tried to ecplain this too them, but apparently they didn’t believe me. In the end it was all cleared up and I wasn’t charge, but it was just a little bit of a hassle. Overall, I was satisfied and would stay here again.

Avoid this hotel
The hotel is adjacent to the main train station; hence, it is extremely noisy. I was able to sleep for a total of circa 5 hours in the two nights I stayed. The staff is very friendly; however, they were not that well informed. Myles
