Not dirty, but not nice
I stayed at this hotel because of its location near Missouri State. Fortunately we only stayed one night. The staff were nice and perhaps the hotel is doing the best with what is has - but it was obviously built with low-end materials and is smelly through-out. Nice televisions in the rooms. Breakfast was okay, but the food mostly gone and unstocked by the time we ate at 9:30am. There are other hotels in Springfield for the same price that are nicer.

Very bad, cockroach in the bed, not clean
We planned to stay three nights, but on the first night my wife woke up in the middle of the night because she thought she felt something crawling on her arm. She swatted at it, and when we got out of bed in the morning we found a huge, almost dead cockroach on the nightstand. I put it in a plastic bag and took it to the front desk. The lady at the front desk looked at it and said it was just a water bug and they come in when it rains. Obviously we checked out immediately, then called Expedia and they refunded our money for the remaining two nights. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
