a true oasis
when it’s 37C on the motorway a stop off with a pool and outside eating area is just what is needed - if the cold lager was more reasonably priced I would have been pinching myself
spent the next morning exploring Orleans - really easy with central car parking so cheap. a bit sticky and scruffy (many dogs had passed through) but lots of renovations and new build in progress so may be a bit more visitor friendly soon. amazing boulangerie at the the end of the Rue de Bourgogne for breakfast and lunch by the river.

Great relaxing hotel
Went as a family of 5, were accommodated in 2 connecting rooms which were spacious and comfortable, if a bit dated with wood chip on the wall. Rest of hotel was modern and outside great for games and stretching legs after long journey. Food fantastic and reasonably priced. Made to feel very welcome and as if nothing was too much trouble. Would return.
They have a pool, table tennis and climbing frame for kids, plus they were all given a free gift. Computer games console with play area in lobby of hotel for them to play whilst you read a paper. Great for a stop off en route to the south of france from Calais.

Recommend this hotel as an excellent ’stopover’
We reached the hotel easily from Sarlat (travelling to Le Havre) and found time to visit the impressive Cathedral. The room was clean and comfortable and though we didn’t take breakfast we enjoyed an evening meal. The pool was obviously a great hit with visiting children.
We were glad we had booked on line before our holiday as the saving was considerable.
