All you need for budget travellers
If you dont mind staying in the residential area of Rome and to get by bus to major sites, this is a very reasonable place to stay. Its located in a large apartment, everything is clean and nicely managed, A big plus was the computer with internet in the common area (in addition to wi-fi). Although we didnt use it, they also provide a nice and pretty large (by local standards) breakfast. Kitchen was available at any time with coffee/tea/fruits. Our only complain was the hot water issue - it operates using a tank boiler which is not very big, and if everyone takes shower at about the same time, you can easily run out of hot water.

Quiet location, great staff
The owners of Ganymedes palace were great, extremely accomodating. The breakfast is outstanding, the best we had during our travels. The location is away from the hustle and bustle that is Rome, which was perfect after a day of running around. The rooms are sparse, but clean. private bathroom across the hall was a surprise, but fine. I would easily stay here again.

At home in Rome
The Hotel is like a bed and breakfast in size and comfort. My room was beautiful and I really liked the kitchen they had available for breakfast. The friendly staff spoke English perfectly and was very helpful in getting me oriented. The neighborhood where the hotel is is not touristy and that suited my tastes very well, it helped me to feel at home in Rome.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Women wear clothing to cover your shoulders and knees if visiting churches. Also its worth it to book tickets in advance. Ask people directly for information if you rely simply on posted signs you may not get the whole story or the lastest hot tip. For example- the Castel SantAngelo passagio was only open to the public on the evening admission ticket. People are very kind and happy to help.
