nice hotel
I thought the hotel was overall very nice, helpful and friendly staff!! Although the location of the hotel was not all that great, the taxi ride into town was very short. The hotel itself was very clean and service was fast!!

Good 4-star hotel suitable for business or leisure
The hotel is 4-star quality with clean, spacious rooms. The staff, particularly the concierge and bell captain speak good English and are very helpful. The included breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel is located north of the city, closer to the airport so is farther from major sights such as Belem, Alfama, etc. However, the Metro is right at the hotel which can take you to Rossio in 15 minutes. The hotel also provides free transportation to the airport but the service is limited. A taxi ride to the airport will cost ~6 euro plus luggage charges.
Traveller's tip on dining
Dining around the hotel is limited. Take the metro to the Oriente station (5 miutes), cross the street to the Vasco De Gama shopping complex and the river front which has more than 20 restaurants serving a variety of cuisine.
