Bad to better
We checked in on a Friday afternoon and the hotel was far from being full. Left, returned and went to bed. At 5am on Saturday morning we discovered we were next to the Exercise Room. There was almost no difference in the noise level in our room as next door - it was if we were with them on the treadmill listening to the TV on full blast. When I inquired about moving rooms, the clerk (different from check in) was very quick about moving us to another room and I was pleased with that service. In fact, we had the choice of multiple rooms that needed no housekeeping attention. The clerk indicated she had never had this complaint before, but housekeeping told us that they usually did not fill this room because of the noise and were surprised we were assigned it as the hotel was not full. Continental breakfast was ok and area was clean.
