I really wanted to keep this a secret
This b&b was AMAZING!! They have a great little cocktail hour where you can drink wine on the river. Not to mention the breakfast was wonderful. The inn keepers are extremely friendly and gave us a great recommendation for dinner! I almost wanted to keep this place a secret get-a-way just for my husband and I but I figured I should share it will everyone to insure they will be there when I get back :)

VERY NICE LOCATION
The 1740 House is beautifully located right on the Delaware river. The room was large and comfortable and had a patio outside the door with table and chairs right along the river. Breafast could also be eaten at lovely tables by the river. The host was very obliging and the breakfast was very good.

Wonderful and Very Enjoyable!
Really a great experience to stay in 1740 House. The room is visually beautiful and physically comfortable. It comes with a fatastic, peaceful river view. Inn keepers & staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good too. Located 6 miles north of New Hope. You got relaxing stay while you can still go into New Hope for some sightseeing stuff. Highly recommend taking their complimentary bicycle for a bike ride along Delaware River. Overall, a romantic and unforgettable experience. Would definitely go back again!
