Good location...
The hotel is in a good location- near downtown and the civic center. Just keep in mind you are getting what you pay for. Not the nicest place... the shower wasn’t too nice- luckily we were only there one night so I didn’t need to shower there...
I heard from a local Roanoke person that the Holiday Inn Express is only slightly nicer and is under an sketchy overpass. The Days Inn was at least in a safer area probably.

You get what you pay for!
This is obviously an old hotel and is missing a lot of tender care. I knew the low price indicated a lower class hotel... On the plus side: the staff were great, the bed very comfortable, the location perfect for the Civic Center. On the negative side: no hot water in the morning - too many women staying at the hotel,the hallways and exterior were in such bad shape, we almost turned around and left.

Dump
Although the hotel staff were pleasant the hotel is a dump. I would never stay there again.
